Located on the pristine tip of the island, the Old Bahama Bay Resort is situated on 150 acres in the West End, a picturesque fishing village and the island's historical capital. Seemingly a world away, the resort is 56 miles from the Florida coast and 25 miles from the international airport in Freeport.
A Small Luxury Hotel of the World property, the Old Bahama Bay provides 49 spacious beachfront suites with direct access to the beach. Each suite includes British Colonial custom-designed furnishings, pillow-top mattresses, and Frette Italian linens, towels and bathrobes. Other amenities include fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, washers and dryers, jetted tubs and DVD players. In-room massages and complimentary high-speed Internet access are available. Ground-floor guestrooms provide partial ocean views, while second-floor rooms offer wonderful views of the yacht basin and the famous West End sunsets. The Old Bahama Bay Resort features three restaurants and bars: the Dockside Grille, Aqua and the Straw Bar. Old Bahama Bay offers two distinct designs of Junior Suite Rooms. Junior Suite One is designed with rich British Colonial furnishings and fabrics and come complete with kitchenettes, washer/dryers, whirlpool tubs, and king beds and pull-out sleeping sofa. Junior Suite Two has a brighter, more island feel and come in a choice of king or double queen beds and kitchenettes. Both designs are exquisite and sure to please even the most discriminating traveler.
The exceptional Two Bedroom suites come with all the refined touches found in the Junior Suite rooms but also feature a master bedroom, a second bedroom with two double beds, a full living room and dining area, and two ocean view balconies or terraces. The three full bathes each include an elegant marble vanity and whirlpool bathtub. The terraces of the Premium suites offer exceptionally beautiful panoramic views.
